May it be your will that this vaccination will hold back the plague and preserve the lives of thousands of myriads in the world which you created and may the verse be fulfilled in us: “And the plague was held back” (Psalms 106:30), that in the merit of this vaccination, ‘our days will be renewed as of old’[5] ref. to Lamentations 5:21. and we will return to gatherings and to entrance into schools, to synagogues, to centers of culture, and to the city streets, and may each person embrace their fellow, as it is written: “And they drew close to him and he kissed them and embraced them.” (Genesis 48:10) |
